Celest: the new Magnicity location!
Since March 2020, the iconic Euromast has been part of Magnicity, an international company specializing in urban tourism at great heights. In addition to towers in Paris, Berlin, and Chicago, and in 2025 also Warsaw, Magnicity will open its second location in Rotterdam at the end of 2024: a premium restaurant and bar concept, including a unique experience on the top two floors of De Zalmhaven, the tallest building in the Benelux.
We are proud of this new location, situated in the heart of the city with a 360° view of beautiful Rotterdam. With the opening of a second tower in Rotterdam, next to the Euromast, we are looking for service staff for the bar on the 57th floor and the fine dining restaurant on the 58th floor.
About the job: Waiting staff employee
This is your chance to bring your hospitality experience to life—either as part of our brand-new high-end restaurant team or the trendy and vibrant bar crew. Where do you see yourself?
As employee of the waiting staff, you will be responsible for ensuring an unforgettable evening for our guests. You will make sure that everything is on time, to their liking, and perfectly seasoned during a multi-course dinner. You will maintain a high level of service, and your responsibilities include:
• Providing friendly and professional service throughout the guests' entire visit.
• Advising guests by giving information about the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods, and then taking their orders.
• Preparing the bill and handling payments with guests.
• Mise en place and preparing the restaurant for lunch and dinner.
• Assisting with closing the restaurant, including tidying up, cleaning, and checking inventory.
• Assisting with the setup and breakdown of events and parties.
Your profile:
To be successful as waitstaff in this unique environment, you have several years of hospitality experience, during which you have been responsible for serving your own tables/section.
Additionally, you recognize yourself in the following profile:
• You have at least an MBO level of work and thinking, preferably with a hospitality-related education.
• You are available to work during the weekend, evenings and after midnight.
• You are 18 years or older.
• You are presentable, well-groomed, and communicative in both Dutch and English.
